Vicki is the Stroll’s River Garden and Volunteer Coordinator and the Job Coach for the Farm to Table Apprenticeship Program. Vicki has extensive and diverse experience with food and working with the underemployed population. Vicki has served as a food job coach under the direction of Chef Tristan Toleno. She brings a high level of skills where concepts need to be broken down into small steps. In October, 2016, Vicki received from Governor Shumlin the Spirit of Americans with Disabilities Act award.
Vicki Friedman joined the Strolling of the Heifers team in March 2011 when she moved from Connecticut to be near family in Brattleboro. She graduated with a recreation degree and loves to be around fun outdoor and farm-related programs. Through her diverse roles at the Stroll, she believes this is the best way to meet all the wonderful people who are involved with this unique organization.
