Sam Groves
Sam first became involved with the Stroll in October, 2013, when his wife Bobbie volunteered him to build the Stroll float for the 2014 parade. As work on this project progressed, Orly asked Sam to address several issues at the River Garden. He became the “go-to” guy for a variety of tasks….everything from installing reliable casters on the piano to adjusting the closing rate on the restroom doors to meet handicap standards. He has lent his hand to scores of these projects since 2013. Sam also designed the human foosball court which is set up at the Slow Living Expo for parade day.
