Technical specifications:
All ads should be submitted in PDF format with all fonts embedded. For the Weekend Program book, please prepare your ad appropriately for newsprint reproduction and dot gain: 100 lpi screen ruling, 200 minimum dpi, all colors in CMYK format. Do not use a “rich black” or “register” color for black in a color ad — any slight movement during a press run makes undesirable out-of-register conditions more noticeable. Send files as a “composite CMYK” — not as separate color plates. Avoid reverse type on multi-color areas, and avoid serif fonts in smaller point sizes in reverses.
For additional newsprint reproduction guidance, please visit the following links. (That printer is not related to the Stroll but the information is very accurate and complete).
