May Gallery at the Garden Presents: Raised Voices! Local Artists Resist

Raised Voices: Local Artists Resist!

An opening reception for the exhibit, “Raised Voices: Local Artists Resist” will take place on Gallery Walk, May 4th from 5:30-8:00 at the River Garden in Brattleboro. The show will be up at the River Garden throughout May, ending on May 26th. Raised Voices features the work of area artists who responded to an open call to stand up and express your hopes, your outrage, your vision in the face of the current political climate in our country today.

The exhibit features unique pieces from some of the finest artists and artisans in the area, and others whose work you may be discovering for the first time. All the work on display is for sale with either 50% or 100% of proceeds going to three organizations: the American Civil Liberties Union of Vermont, Vermont Planned Parenthood, and the Vermont Worker’s Center.
