Martin C. Langeveld
Martin served for 8 years as the Stroll’s marketing director, and now offers occasional advice from the sidelines. He spent 30 years in the media business, 28 in the Berkshires of Massachusetts and two at the Brattleboro Reformer. He still serves on the board of New England Newspapers, Inc., which publishes the Reformer and several other newspapers. In the distant past, he and his wife were innkeepers for three years in New Marlboro, Massachusetts.
While living in the Berkshires, Martin served two terms as chair and one as treasurer of Hancock Shaker Village. He was a founding trustee of the Colonial Theatre Association, a director of the Berkshire Chamber of Commerce and as director and treasurer of the Massachusetts Newspaper Publishers Association.
Currently, he serves on the boards of the Windham-Windsor Housing Trust, Brattleboro Community Television, the Resilient Design Institute, the New England School of Circus Arts, the Vermont Press Association and on the Vernon Planning Commission. More about Martin.
