In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 to those who are most vulnerable in our community, the River Garden will be closed to the public until April 6th. At that time the staff will use the latest information from the Department of Health to determine if we should resume our regular open hours of Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Cabin Fever Expo, which was scheduled for March 21st is postponed to a date to be determined. The Women's Expo, which was scheduled for May 1 is postponed to a date to be determined. We are also postponing all scheduled Brown Bag Lunch events until further notice. We will post a notification with the new date details as soon as possible.
Please remember to keep yourself and others safe by staying home if you have any cold or flu symptoms. Visit www.strollingoftheheifers.com or www.cdc.gov for more information.

Love Local, a celebration of all things local

Love Local, a celebration of all things local

On Friday night, February 2 from 5:00 to 8:30 p.m., Strolling of the Heifers presents Love Local — an evening of food, music, art, and celebration of all things local.

During February’s Gallery Walk, the River Garden will become an inviting open marketplace where folks can sample the sweet and savory specialty foods of local farmers and food producers and view the work of local artists and artisans.

If you find an item that warms your heart – or your palate – vendors will also have their products for sale.

The acoustic musical duo “Sharon & Daniel” will be performing throughout the evening. With playful harmonies, acoustic guitars, percussion and upright bass, Sharon Leslie and Daniel Kasnitz perform acoustic versions of popular hits with a funky, jazzy twist. Bring your requests!

Here are some local exhibitors who will be there – come show them some love!
