Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “Life is a journey, not a destination.” Josh Traeger embraced this idea throughout his work career while wearing many different hats and building a varied and valuable set of skills. He worked in the field of education for the past twenty years in various capacities: an interpretive park ranger at Redwood National Park, a classroom teacher at the Greenfield Center School and starting and running a science education business with his wife. Over the last 7 years, he has moved into the private sector as a commercial real estate and business developer for a company called The Discovery Group. He thoroughly enjoys helping others find their true potential and has been an active Rotarian for the past 5 years, volunteering on many different projects. You might find Josh biking through town, skiing the slopes, or playing disc golf at Living Memorial Park, often with his adventurous daughter in tow.
