Culinary Class – INDIAN SPICE BLENDS

Join Lini Mazumdar for a fun, hands-on class on blending and using Indian spices. Together we will make dry and fresh spice blends including Garam Masala and Panch Phuran (a fresh, basic, must-have spice blend). We will also learn how to make Ghee and an Ayurvedic Milk recipe for restful sleep. Lini will talk about how to use all of these ingredients in different recipes, as well as their health benefits from an Ayurvedic perspective.
$25 class fee. Participants will receive recipes and spices to take home. Class size is limited!
Lini is a professional cook, Ayurvedic Nutritional Counselor and Certified Herbalist. She has taught Indian Cooking classes and Ayurveda for many years in the area. She lives in South Londonderry, VT on Anjali Farm with her family. She also has an office on 974 Western Ave. in Brattleboro where she sees Ayurvedic clients.
