The River Garden will be closed to the public until Vermont's Stay Home Stay Safe orders are lifted. At that time the staff will use the latest information from the Department of Health to determine if we should resume our regular open hours of Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. All Brown Bag Lunches and Vendor Expos will be rescheduled when it is safe to do so.

Culinary Class – Indian Spice Blends

lini 2Join Lini Mazumdar for a fun, hands-on class on blending and using Indian spices.  Together we will make dry and fresh spice blends including Garam Masala and Panch Phuran (a fresh, basic, must-have spice blend). We will also learn how to make Ghee and an Ayurvedic Milk recipe for restful sleep. Lini will talk about how to use all of these ingredients in different recipes, as well as their health benefits from an Ayurvedic perspective.

$25 class fee. Participants will receive recipes and spices to take home. Class size is limited! 

liniLini is a professional cook, Ayurvedic Nutritional Counselor and Certified Herbalist. She has taught Indian Cooking classes and Ayurveda for many years in the area.  She lives in South Londonderry, VT on Anjali Farm with her family.
