January Gallery at the Garden Presents: Wall of Quilts
7 January, 2019 @ 9:00 am - 11 January, 2019 @ 5:00 pm
Quilter: Mary Ennis
Quilting isn’t my business yet, but I’d like to do a business with it eventually. I started quilting when my little dog companion became sick with cancer. I wanted a project that was about her. My first quilt was about all of the places we had traveled to together. Since then quilting has become my passion. I want to be involved and be connected with others because I love quilting and wanted to share it. I want to meet other people that are invited loved in this lovely art.

We are a Vermont company from Monkton. Over the years Carla has developed unique methods to speed up making quilt units using only a 24″ quilting ruler. There are many quilt examples, patterns and kits. She published twice in AQ Magazine with another pattern scheduled for the March 2019 issue. We travel extensively doing classes and quilt shows as a vendor. We have an online store for many of our patterns and kits.

Quilter: Faith Evans
Business Name: The Dream Quilt
I’m Faith Evans, and I love to make custom quilts! I also lead custom quilting workshops, teaching persons of all sewing abilities. Helping people design their own custom quilts with the fabrics and colors they like best is a real joy for me. I remember getting my first sewing machine when I was about 11 years old. (We won’t get into how long ago that was, but I now have four lovely grandchildren.) I began by sewing clothes, then tried my hand at upholstery. As luck would have it, I next discovered my lifelong passion – CUSTOM QUILTING! What a way to go…there is never enough time to design and sew!
