Intro to Chi

Well known among practitioners for its health giving properties, chi (Chinese for “energy”) remains obscure for many who haven’t had the time or opportunity to study deeply or regularly. This session offers a succinct explanation of chi in familiar science-based terms, and a simple exercise to identify chi in our daily physical experience. This may allow beginners to feel more comfortable considering a course in chi practice, such as chi kung, tai chi, or meditation. Common obstacles to meditation will also be discussed.
