“We Are All Refugees” from Lori Schreiner and the exhibit from The Fourth Corner Foundation
Lori Schreiner is a painter , writer and social worker. She has studied painting at the Arts Students league in NYC , at River Gallery School since 1988 and was a member if the Windham Art Gallery. Her work has been shown in NYC and local venues in VT. Her writing has appeared in The Best of Write Action 1 and 2 . 26 of her paintings appear in a collaborative book with the poems of Theresa Senato Edwards called Painting Czeslawa Kwoka honoring Children of the Holocaust which won the Tacenda Literary Award: Best Collaboration, 2010 for “Last Look”
The Fourth Corner Foundation exhibiting new artwork from Stephen Petegorsky (Fish 8) and Camille Rivera (Other) along with several pieces from their permanent collection.
The Fourth Corner Foundation is a non-profit founded by Robert Shannon. It is dedicated to providing a physical institution where creative ideas concerning sustainable practices are paramount. The property serves as a gathering place for interested parties to discuss ideas, design projects, attend conferences and experience an inspiring combination of art, architecture and gardens. Two of the buildings on the property serve as a bed and breakfast, providing accommodations for both visitors of the foundation as well as local attractions. There are 10 bedrooms as well as several public spaces including a lounge, library, hot tub, sauna, and dipping pools
There is an Art Gallery/Conference space where several events are hosted over the summer as well as acres of beautiful botanical and horticultural gardens.
