Pete & Gerry's Organic Eggs
Pete and Gerry’s Organic Eggs is a fourth-generation, family-owned farm in Monroe, New Hampshire. We’re the largest producer of cage-free, organic eggs in New England. Our hens roam about freely in cage-free barns where they have roosting and scratch areas plus outside access in good weather. They’re fed organic grain and given no antibiotics or medications. Pete and Gerry’s was the first certified humane poultry farm in the United States. Our eggs are certified organic by the New Hampshire Department of Agriculture and by the USDA. As we’ve grown, we’ve recruited other small farmers to produce eggs for us using the same high standards. Thank you for buying our eggs and for supporting our family farms.
As with any good story, there are a few different ways to tell the story of Red Hen Baking Company: It’s a love story: We are guided by an enduring passion for certified organic ingredients, and for the union of high quality grains, water, salt, and natural leavening. It’s an adventure story: No two days are exactly alike here at the bakery, and making excellent bread requires skill and attention. It’s a comedy: You should see us all laughing together while we work. Red Hen came into being when Randy George and Liza Cain, the bakery co-owners, moved back to Vermont. Red Hen is made up of about 32 full and part-time employees who work, collectively, 363 days a year. We take pride in our hard work – and, of equal importance, we have a lot of fun!As a bakery, we locate ourselves proudly at the crossroads of a return to traditional methodology – making bread with flour, water, and salt – and an exciting revolution in the way people think about food. We are part of the “bread revolution” that has, over the past 20 years or so, prompted a resurgence of interest in artisan bread in the United States.
Orchard Hill Breadworks is a small, rural bakery located in southwest New Hampshire. Our operation is run out of a renovated barn located on our family owned farm. Our breads are made with 100% organic flour and grains using traditional natural leavening techniques. All of our breads are baked in a wood fired. We strive to produce bread that nourishes the body and pleases the palate. We believe that making positive connections with people around food builds happier and healthier communities, and to that end we support the work of farms and organizations that share our hopes for a strong local food web. Please come visit if you’re in our area.
We at the Common Loaf Bakery, at Basin Farm in North Westminster, Vermont, desire that our baked goods would reflect the quality of life that we share together. We are part of the Twelve Tribes Commonwealth of Communities and love to create healthy wholesome food. We began commercial baking in Southern Vermont about 12 years ago. As time went on folks in the area heard about our bread and we were invited to be members of the Farmer's Market. Fresh whole grain breads come out of our ovens every day including seeded breads, sourdoughs, focaccia, scones and much more. You will find Spelt, Wheat, Rye and mixed flour breads on our shelves when you visit.

Quality and taste are the hallmarks of our company's award-winning, handcrafted cheese. The cheese company is part of the Grafton-based Windham Foundation, whose mission is to promote Vermont's rural communities.
