Love Local, a celebration of all things local
On Friday night, February 3 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., Strolling of the Heifers presents Love Local — an evening of food, music, art, and celebration of all things local.
For one night, the River Garden will be transformed into an open marketplace where you can sample the savory and sweet specialty foods of local farmers and food producers and view the work of local artists.
Find something that lights up your tastebuds? Vendors will also have their products available for sale!
Live music will be provided by Earth Blues artist Daniel Hartigan, whose music is a mix of blues, folk, soul and rock. Born into a musical family, Daniel uses music as a healing force that uplifts listeners.
The Stroll’s art gallery, Gallery at the Garden, will be open as well, with an installation featuring nine members of Brattleboro-West Arts. The show features a diverse collection of works, including photography, metal sculpture, hooked and braided wall hangings, collage, large-scale prints and paintings in gouache, acrylic, and oil.
