In a rare public appearance, legendary folk singer Pete Seeger will perform, together with his grandson Tao Rodríguez-Seeger and blues artist Guy Davis, in a fund raising concert on September 13 at 7 p.m. at Brattleboro’s Latchis Theatre, co-produced by Strolling of the Heifers and Twin Cloud Concerts.

We're sorry, this concert is very nearly sold out. A small number of tickets may still be available at Dynamite Records, 150 Main Street, Northampton, Massachusetts. (Cash only, please.)

Ticket pricing information:

Front orchestra seats: $50
Rear and side orchestra seats: $40
Balcony seats: $30
For an additional $15, ticket holders at any level may attend a post-concert reception with the artists.
Seating is general admission in each ticket level section; there are no individual reserved seats. The show begins at 7 p.m.; doors will open at 6:15 p.m.

“Celebrating Our Roots Cookbook” Premieres

The cookbook was the outgrowth of the Stroll's year-long Celebrating Our Roots’ Recipe Contest. The Stroll created the contest as a way to build public awareness regarding the Stroll's ongoing Buy Local Challenge Campaign. The public was invited to submit their favorite recipes, preferably those with fresh, local ingredients. Those submitted are included in the cookbook and range from down-home, comfort food to gourmet dishes.

This fun-filled festival on Retreat Healthcare’s grounds will feature a smorgasbord of New England farm products for purchase and sampling. It also will include lots of great food, farm animal demonstrations and family entertainment.
