The Slow Living Summit is a unique intergenerational conversation about connections — connections between life, health and happiness; between soil, soul and food; between money, community and bioregions; between arts, humor and love. Behind those connections are stories.
The Summit has evolved. In the first Summit in 2011, we spent a lot of time defining problems. In 2012, we moved to solutions, and in 2013 we explored the inner, personal transformation of the spirit that are necessary to Live Slow.
Now, in 2014, we’ll share stories, rather than solutions. For most problems, it’s usually easy to prescribe a cure. But what we really need is not a cure but a story that enables us to understand the problem and find the solution on our own.
At the Summit, nationally-known speakers and artists will present and perform together, telling stories and exploring narratives. Let’s come together, listen, share, and learn how to be the artists of our own lives.
